Materials are billed at cost. Steel, aluminum, stainless, filler rod, gas — you pay what we pay. No markup.

Cast iron repairs are quoted per job — preheat and slow-cool requirements vary.

Every job gets a quote before we strike an arc. Call for a free estimate.

A Note on Materials

We stock common steel shapes and filler metals. For specialty materials — stainless, aluminum, or specific alloys — we source what the job requires and pass the cost through at our price. No markup, no surprises.

If you're supplying your own material, bring it by the shop or have it on-site when we arrive. We'll inspect it and let you know if it's good to weld.

Welding Processes

We work with the process that fits the job — not the one that's fastest for us. Every joint, every material, every application gets matched to the right technique.

MIG (GMAW) — Shop Workhorse

  • 220VAC shop-powered, gas-shielded
  • Steel: 22-gauge (~0.030") up to 5/8" single-pass; thicker in multi-pass
  • Aluminum & stainless: spool-gun MIG, roughly 1/8"–1/4"
  • Best for clean shop conditions and production fabrication

Stick (SMAW) — Built for the Field

  • Engine-driven diesel generator — 1,500 lbs of on-site muscle, no grid power needed
  • Runs 300+ amps; heavy structural and field repair
  • Steel: 3/16" minimum up to 3/4" single-pass; 1" and beyond in multi-pass
  • Tolerant of wind, weather, and less-than-perfect metal — built for the real world

TIG (GTAW) — Precision Welds

  • Clean, strong joints where appearance matters: stainless, aluminum, exhaust, ornamental
  • Current range: ~20-gauge up to about 1/4"
  • Coming soon: new multi-mode AC/DC/Pulse system — expanded aluminum range and finer pulse control on thin stock

Not sure which process your job needs? That's our call to make — just describe the job and we'll recommend the right approach.
